Circumstances Of Life

In the Bhagavad Gita, one of the most profound moments is when Lord Krishna speaks to Arjun on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. As Arjun hesitates, torn between duty and emotion, Krishna reminds him that everyone present in the war already knows what the outcome will be. Yet, they fight. Some fight out of ego, blinded by their pride, greed and desires, while others fight because they have no choice, bound by duty or circumstance.

This scene beautifully reflects the realities of life. We all face battles, both big and small. Sometimes we fight out of pride or the need to prove ourselves. At other times, life puts us in situations where we have no option but to move forward, despite knowing the hardships ahead.

Krishna's message highlights a powerful truth: it’s not just about the fight itself, but about understanding why we fight. Life is full of different situations, and each of us approaches them with unique perceptions. Some act out of ego, while others are driven by a sense of duty. The key is to rise above ego, embrace the bigger picture, and act with purpose.

The Gita teaches us that life is about balance—between our desires, duties, and the reality we face. By understanding the different perceptions and circumstances that drive us, we can approach life with wisdom and peace, realizing that the journey is more important than the outcome.
